About Dr. Smith:

Dr. J. Kevin Smith believes the best medical decisions are made in a cooperative effort between caring doctors and well-informed patients. He treats each patient as a unique and individual case, applying cutting-edge techniques to offer the best care possible for the full spectrum of upper extremity injuries.

During his training at the University of Chicago, Dr. Smith worked directly under Dr. Daniel Mass, one of the world’s leading experts in tendon injury and upper extremity surgery. He returned to the Tomball/Woodlands area after being an associate professor of upper extremity surgery at Scott & White Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Smith has performed and researched the most advanced techniques in his field, while also providing care for several Major League Baseball teams and National Hockey League teams.

Dr. Smith is active in the community and assists in the care of countless local high schools and organizations. He enjoys golfing, traveling, fishing and following his beloved Houston Astros. He lives in The Woodlands with his wife and their two sons.
