About:

Clay Meekins is a physical therapist that has practiced in the Houston area for over two decades. Clay graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996. From there he then obtained his Master of Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University - Houston in 2001. Clay’s interest in orthopaedic injuries & conditions led him to become a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy in 2007. He later completed a Clinical Fellowship Program in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 2009. Clay owned and operated Performance Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine from 2008-2013 before joining Texas Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine as the Director of Physical Therapy. Clay provides patient centered care with individualized programs for each patient. As the Physical Therapy Manager, he enjoys seeing the growth of the younger therapists.
